Dice are random. The player isn't.

We didn’t build another casual pastime. We built a tactical contest for sharp minds. Enter the game.

Dice5 keeps score. Every roll lands on a permanent record — your level, your ranking points, your standing in the 1000 Club. Win a duel and someone, somewhere, loses theirs.

We built this for the people who count cards in their head, who read three moves ahead, who know variance from skill. Roll badly and you'll know why. Roll brilliantly and the leaderboard will know your name.

Five dice. One scorecard. Everything to play for.

The Game

Easy to score big once. A lifetime to master.

Five dice. Five rows. Seventy-five spots to fill, and no two games ever fill the same way.

Two of those rows have to be scored in sequence — no skipping ahead to the box you wish you'd rolled for. So it isn't only what you score. It's when. Wait too long for the perfect throw and the space you needed is already gone.

Variance gives you the moment. Strategy and timing decide whether you took it. Anyone can post a great score one night. Posting them on purpose — that's the game behind the game.

Win the chaos. Beat the odds. Turn the table on the last throw.

Dice5 in-game scorecard with five dice and scoring rows.

01 — The hand you're dealt

Luck opens the door.

Five dice, fresh every roll. Variance is the invitation. What you do with it is the answer.

02 — Seventy-five spots

Five rows. No take-backs.

Every spot you fill closes a door. Two rows must be scored in sequence — run out of room before you run out of time.

03 — Mastery

A thousand games later, still new.

No two games play the same. The maths is finite. The decisions — and the timing — aren't. The best players still get surprised, and still come out ahead.

Why Play

Every player picks up the dice for a reason. Dice5 has a seat for all of them.

Some nights it's a title to defend. Some nights it's a puzzle that bites back. Some nights it's a quiet seat and a clean run. The reason changes. The dice don't.

A seasonal League with promotion, relegation and qualifiers. Skill-matched duels that move your Ranking Points. Bracketed tournaments with prize pools in D5 Coins. Win and the ladder notices. Lose and it notices that too.

The Campaign

Hand-built levels. Gods that don't fold for you.

A story-driven run of unique objectives, perks, bosses and star ratings. Each chapter changes the rules just enough to make your old habits cost you.

Earn perks. Pick fights. Beat gods. The campaign is where the scorecard stops being the only thing on the table — and the names you'll be up against are best discovered the hard way.

D5 Coins

The currency of the table.

Earned at the table. Spent at the table. D5 Coins are how the game keeps score outside the scorecard — a parallel economy that rewards showing up and gives every stake real weight.

From the table it came from

Four friends. Too many games to count.

We've been playing this game for years. Around living room tables, cabin trips, late nights when nobody wanted to be the one to call it. Long enough to know — quietly, then loudly — that it's the best game any of us have ever played.

Winning the chaos. Beating the odds. Turning the table on the very last throw, and watching three grown men go silent. Learning, slowly, how to actually master the thing — and then having a single bad roll take all of it away.

Over the years the rules drifted. A house variation here, a new scoring twist there, a mode invented that nobody wanted to stop playing. At some point we looked up and realized we weren't playing the old game anymore — we'd built our own. Dice5 is that game, finally given the scorecards, the leaderboards, the ladders, and the records it always deserved.

From players, for players.

The rules of the house

Five rows. Seventy-five turns. One scorecard.

What makes Dice5 different from other dice games?

Dice5 isn't one scorecard — it's five rows played in parallel, each with its own rules, across exactly 75 turns (15 per row). Every turn you decide which row to advance and how many rerolls to spend. That trade-off is the whole game.

How do the five rows work?

Each row has its own throw limit and placement rule. The mix of free-placement rows and forced-order rows is what creates the tension — you're always managing throws, slots, and sequencing at once.

  • Row 11 throw only. Place freely in any open slot.
  • Row 2Up to 2 throws. Place freely.
  • Row 3Up to 3 throws. Place freely.
  • Row 4Up to 3 throws. Must fill top-down — Ones first, then Twos, and so on.
  • Row 5Up to 3 throws. Must fill bottom-up — Dice5 first, then Chance, working upward.

How long is a game?

Exactly 75 turns — 15 per row. The game doesn't end until every slot is filled. In practice, an experienced player finishes a solo run in around 7–10 minutes; a new player closer to 15–20. You can pause at any point and pick up exactly where you left off, so a game fits a coffee break or a full evening.

Where does the name Dice5 come from?
